VIDEO CAMERA

MREyes utilizes a tiny specially-designed video module, made for us, to achieve excellent video performance in the MR environment. Because some of our users will want to capture the video signal for eye-tracking, MREyes supports a frame rate of 60 Hz, and makes this signal over standard composite video that can be connected to essentially any monitor.

POWER SUPPLY

Alhough MREyes is not marketed for clinical use, we include a premium medical grade power supply with its attendant high reliability. While contact with the connections is virtually impossible, the medical grade supply offers an additional margin of safety and reliability.

FIBER OPTICS

Any electrical connection that pass in and out of the MRI magnet room create the potential to disrupt the expensive and complex radio frequency shielding of the room. We therefore carry the video data over optical fiber. Our solution uses readily available multi-mode fiber with ST connections that are easy to install and easy to replace in the event that cables become crimped or otherwise damaged.
